Biography/Experience:
Dr David Anderson graduated from Monash University in 2008. He has completed additional training with a Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine and Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice including children’s health, geriatric care and management of chronic diseases. As part of his background in Public Health, Dr Anderson has additional training in travel medicine and has an interest in Q fever vaccination and certification.
Dr Anderson has done additional training in Fertility Awareness Methods (FABMs) of family planning and their associated medical applications in assisting with the diagnosis and restorative management of women’s health issues such as sub/infertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, thyroid and other hormonal conditions, and does active ongoing professional development in these areas. He is a current Creighton Model Practitioner. Dr Anderson is a part of Manningham General Practice’s Fertility Assessment Clinic, together with Dr Lucia Murnane and Dr Mary Walsh. The clinic offers medical advice and assistance in preparation for pregnancy, and assessment and management of subfertility utilising Fertility Awareness Methods (FABMs), and can provide appropriate referrals for dietetics, exercise physiology, psychology, andrology, endocrinology and gynaecology to enable a comprehensive, holistic and restorative approach.
